Still Here is free to download and the basic daily check-in is included at no cost. Some additional features, like the ability for family members to follow your check-in status, are available through an optional subscription.

If you don’t check in within your chosen time window, Still Here will send an SMS to your emergency contacts letting them know. The message is calm and factual — it simply says you haven’t checked in today and suggests they get in touch with you.

No. Still Here never contacts emergency services on your behalf. It only notifies the contacts you’ve chosen. What they do with that information is entirely up to them.

The minimum needed to function: your account details, your contacts’ phone numbers, and your check-in times. We don’t collect location data, health information, or anything else. We never sell your data. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

No. Still Here does not track or share your location. Your contacts can only see whether you’ve checked in today — nothing more.

You can pause your check-in schedule at any time using Vacation Mode. Your contacts won’t receive any alerts while it’s active, and you can resume whenever you’re ready.

Still Here is currently available on iOS only. We’re exploring Android support and will announce it when it’s ready.

You can manage your contacts at any time from the Settings screen in the app. Add new contacts, remove existing ones, or update their details — it’s entirely in your hands.

Your contacts will be notified, but there’s no penalty or consequence beyond that. When you next open the app and check in, they’ll see that you’re fine. You can also adjust your grace period to give yourself more time before alerts are sent.
