Care without crowding
You want to know they're OK. They want to keep their independence. Still Here finds the balance.
The worry that doesn't switch off
When someone you care about lives alone, there's a background hum of worry that never quite goes away. You don't want to be overbearing. You don't want to make them feel like they can't cope. But you'd sleep better knowing someone was keeping an eye out.
Still Here is that someone.
How it works for you
Your loved one downloads Still Here and adds you as a contact. Each day, they tap a button to check in. You don't need to do anything — unless they miss a day. If that happens, you'll receive a simple SMS letting you know they haven't checked in. From there, it's up to you. Give them a call, pop round, or just keep an eye out.
What you won't get
Still Here won't track their location, monitor their health, or give you a live feed of their activity. It's deliberately minimal. One signal a day — 'I'm OK' — and a heads-up if it's missing. That's it. Because respecting someone's independence is part of caring about them.
Following their status
With their permission, you can also see when they last checked in from within the app. So if you're ever wondering, you can glance at your phone and see 'Last check-in: today at 9:14 AM' without needing to call.
Still Here is not an emergency service. It is designed to keep your chosen contacts informed. If you or someone you know is in immediate danger, call 999.
